The hotel had a convenient location close to eateries in McAllen, TX. I slept really well after enjoying the pool, and the breakfast was amazing. However, there was a need for mosquito spraying around the area.
The hotel has its ups and downs. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, yet there was a bad smell sometimes, especially coming from the adjacent restroom. The service was friendly and accommodating overall, although there were moments of poor training. The location was perfect for our needs, close to local eateries and attractions. The dining experience was delightful with changing daily options, catering to a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast. Overall, a mixed bag of experiences with some areas shining brighter than others.
